We are looking for an experienced HGV Workshop Controller / HGV Workshop Supervisor / HGV Workshop Manager to work with a specialist, reliable and reputable Commercial Vehicle Fleet Company based around the Reading area. Our client is looking for a passionate and dedicated HGV Workshop Controller / HGV Workshop Supervisor / HGV Workshop Manager to expand their growing team. Responsibilities as a HGV Workshop Controller / Supervisor / Manager:
- Maximise workshop productivity, efficiency and profitability through effective job allocation and labour utilisation.
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of Technicians, ensuring high performance and ongoing training.
- Coordinate with Service, Parts and Warranty teams to ensure smooth day-to-day workshop operations.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, documentation, manufacturer compliance and warranty procedures.
- Ensure workshop equipment, tooling and calibrations are up to date and audit compliant.
- Promote exceptional customer satisfaction while maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop environment.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, ISO and manufacturer standards, supporting the overall success of the service department.
