We are recruiting skilled engineers in the Heathrow / Hillingdon area to work the desirable 4 Days On / 4 Days Off shift pattern (12 hour shifts), maintaining modern fleets that keep the capital moving safely and reliably every day. Whether you have current PSV experience or are looking to transition from HGVs, we would love to hear from you.
As a PSV Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability and performance. Working alternating early and late shifts, you will be working within a well-equipped workshop where you will carry out scheduled servicing, inspections, diagnostics and repairs to minimise vehicle downtime and maximise fleet availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on buses and coaches.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and pneumatic faults.
- Complete safety inspections and preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer and DVSA standards.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and ensure they remain fully roadworthy.
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.
- Accurately complete maintenance records and job documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
