Overview
Are you an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in fire suppression systems? We are partnering with a well-established fire protection company that is expanding its team and seeking a Mechanical Fire Suppression Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. This role is site-based on a power station.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission mechanical fire suppression systems in line with relevant standards
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance and inspections
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry best practice
- Participate in the on-call rota (1 week on/off), site-only
- Work closely with clients and site teams to deliver high-quality service
- Prepare reports and documentation following visits
What We\’re Looking For
- Proven experience working with mechanical fire suppression systems
- Strong understanding of relevant fire protection standards and regulations
- CSCS/ECS card and full UK driving licence
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
