About Us
We are a specialist roofing contractor delivering high-quality commercial and residential roofing solutions across Hertfordshire, London, and the Home Counties. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support our commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, tenders, and quotations for roofing projects.
- Support the QS team with measurement, take-offs, and bill of quantities.
- Help manage project budgets, valuations, and cost reporting.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Assist with contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify completed works.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and commercial records.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in construction or roofing is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of construction processes and materials.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with estimating software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
