Caledonian is looking for a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic Hotel/Entertainment Host to join our team. In this dual role, you will serve as the first point of contact for guests, delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
As a Hotel Host, you'll assist with arrivals and departures, provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions, and respond to guest inquiries and requests. As the Entertainment Host, you will be expected to perform in three cabaret shows per week and fully utilise our in-house entertainment system to enhance the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, welcoming attitude.
- Assist with arrival and departure days to ensure smooth transitions.
- Provide guests with information about the hotel's amenities, services, and nearby attractions.
- Respond to guest inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour at all times.
- Promptly and efficiently handle guest requests such as room changes, additional services, or special accommodations.
- Ensure the reception area and public spaces are clean, tidy, and welcoming.
- Work closely with reception, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Address guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel policies, services, and promotions.
- Assist with special events, tribute nights, and tours.
- Perform and support external cabaret performances as part of the evening entertainment program.
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred.
