An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Workshop Manager to join a busy PSV / HGV workshop in the Buckinghamshire area. The successful candidate must hold an industry recognised qualification and ideally have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within Heavy Vehicles / HGV / PSV / PCV / Bus. This is a Monday - Friday management position offering a basic salary of up to £66,000 per annum + Company Benefits.

You should have a thorough understanding of workshop engineering processes (PSV / HGV) and vehicle maintenance procedures on bus and/or truck.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Depot Manager / Engineering Manager on a regular basis.
  • Ensure that all engineering staff within the garage fully understand and comply with company and statutory requirements in terms of Health & Safety and operating procedures.
  • To ensure that the depot peak vehicle requirement is achieved on a daily basis and to ensure that all vehicles supplied for service are maintained to a high standard that exceeds the statutory requirements set out.
  • Dealing with the maintenance, health and safety and environmental impact of Company premises and ensuring legislative compliance.

Previous experience working in a busy Truck or Bus workshop is essential.
