Our client is a specialist, reliable and reputable Commercial Vehicle Company based in and around Berkshire/Reading. They are seeking a passionate and dedicated LCV Technician / Van Technician / Van Mechanic to expand their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for and be part of a leading company that looks after and values its employees.
Your role as an LCV Technician / Van Technician / Van Mechanic:
- Carry out routine servicing and repairs on a wide range of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) in line with VOSA standards.
- Diagnose and resolve a variety of mechanical and technical faults efficiently.
- Work closely with the parts department to source the correct components as required.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and maintain safe working practices.
- Accurately record time, complete job cards, and ensure all service documentation is finalised promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment.
As an LCV Technician / Van Technician / Van Mechanic you should hold:
- NVQ / City and Guilds Level 3
- Minimum of 5 years working on Vans / LGV Vehicles
- Experience working in a fast paced and demanding customer environment
- The ability to organise work on own initiative and work under pressure
- Full UK Driving Licence
