Currently recruiting a Pricing Specialist for a leading forwarder based in the LHR area. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to independently work on:
- Air freight tenders
- Spot pricing
- Negotiating and maintaining relationships with partners, including airlines, trucking companies, and packers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continually engage with new and existing customers
- Produce quotations, proposals and RFQs to Sales member within the company
- Ensure very best price and service balance
- Prioritise opportunities for follow up
- Up-sell services and increase business revenue
- Gain detailed understanding of Air services offered
- Assist with Air product pricing on all RFQs/Tenders covering Export & Import
- Prepare quotations
- Follow up quotes and proposals over telephone, emails or in person where required
- Coordinate with suppliers, partners & internal teams to improve cost, revenue and profit management
The salary is up to £34,000, with a bonus based on company performance.
