Edinburgh continues to attract some of the strongest graduate and early-career talent in the UK, and Caledonia Group is looking to bring that talent into a structured, results-driven environment. We deliver face-to-face marketing campaigns on behalf of household names including BT/EE, British Gas and Oxfam, and we are recruiting a Campaign Executive to learn this discipline properly, with a clear, benchmarked route to Campaign Manager within 6 to 12 months.
This is not a static entry-level position. It is best understood as a structured, fast-track introduction to campaign delivery — reading customer response in real time, adjusting your approach accordingly, and translating that skill into measurable results. Progression is not determined by time served; it is determined by demonstrated ability.
Why This Role Suits Edinburgh-Based Candidates
Whether your background is in study at Heriot-Watt, Edinburgh Napier or the University of Edinburgh, or in a customer-facing role within the city, you are likely to already hold the two qualities this role depends on most: the ability to engage confidently with people you do not know, and the resilience to maintain performance on days that do not go to plan. Our base is in the city centre, easily accessible from Waverley or Haymarket, and readily commutable from across the Lothians and Fife.
A Typical Week Involves
- Delivering live, face-to-face campaign activity on behalf of our partner brands
- Reading customer response and adapting your approach accordingly
- Recording results and engagement data so performance can be reviewed objectively
- Working alongside a Campaign Manager to understand the decision-making behind campaign delivery
- Contributing observations on what is and is not working, to help refine the campaign
- Progressively taking on greater ownership of campaign delivery as competence is demonstrated
This Role Will Suit You If You
- Are naturally results-oriented and comfortable being measured against clear targets
- Respond constructively to feedback and apply it
- Can engage in confident, professional conversation with people you have not previously met
- Maintain composure and consistency when performance does not go as planned
- Have relevant experience in retail, hospitality, sport, or other customer-facing work, though this is not essential
- Can commute reliably into Edinburgh city centre, Monday to Friday
What You Can Expect
- £400 weekly base pay, plus uncapped performance-related bonus — realistic average earnings of £600–£800 per week
- Structured, one-to-one coaching from a manager who began in this same role
- A clearly defined and benchmarked route to Campaign Manager, based on ability rather than length of service
- Direct exposure to live campaigns for nationally recognised brands
- A professional, city-centre based team environment with a genuine focus on development
- Progression within this role is intentionally unrestricted — how quickly you advance is determined by your own performance. If you are seeking a role with genuine structure, accountability and a defined path forward, we would welcome your application.
