Known for our extensive sporting provision, we have pitches across 40 acres of grounds. Boys play up to 22 fixtures, twice a week, with internal matches and training sessions in between. As well as our three core sports of Rugby, Football and Cricket, we offer a wide range of additional sports including basketball, judo, cross country, swimming, archery, kayaking and skiing.

We have a great opportunity for a Resident Sports Graduate Assistant to start in September 2026, for the academic year 2026 – 2027. The role is intended to suit recent graduates who have an interest in pursuing a career in education or sports coaching: it is an ideal opportunity to assess whether a career in these fields is right for you. It will provide an all-encompassing experience of school life, working and living in the school alongside the other sports graduates and Gap Year Placement students.

The work experience will be hugely varied, with opportunities to coach sport, support classroom and a wide range of extra-curricular activities. If you are also experienced in running children’s sports holiday and after school clubs, this would be an advantage.

The role pays a basic salary pro-rated for the duration of the contract, plus:

  • Free on-site accommodation
  • The provision of all meals during term time
  • Use of school facilities, including a swimming pool and squash courts
  • Employee Assistance Programme

Exceptional candidates may subsequently be offered support to qualify as a teacher where we have a need in their subject specialism.
