Business Studies is apopular subject at both KS4 and KS5, playing an important role in the successof Caldew School, ensuring that standards of teaching and learning are achievedby all students working within the subject. There may also be the opportunity to teach KS3 classes.
Wehave developed an engaging, challenging and comprehensive curriculum, lookingat the types of businesses and business models; the role of marketing;management; the role of digital technologies and finances, with local, nationaland global examples. We teach EdExcel Business Studies at GCSE and AQA BusinessStudies at AS/A Level.
This is anexciting opportunity for both Early Career Teachers and experiencedpractitioners. We are looking for someone with strong subject knowledge, acommitment to high-quality teaching, and a desire to continually develop theirpractice. We offer an excellent opportunity to receive support through the school’s comprehensive ECT and CPD programme.
