Analyze and interpret customer specifications and technical requirements. Lead and coordinate technical support activities alongside sales initiatives within the Thermal Segment. Manage the preparation and completion of technical project documentation in collaboration with the project team, including quality procedures, technical drawings, and related materials. Coordinate project stakeholders and ensure effective collaboration under the guidance of the Account Manager. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Project Sales division.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and expansion of new product offerings within the range.
- Review customer specifications, identify critical requirements, assess project scope, and determine technical feasibility.
- Define refractory designs, select appropriate products, and develop lining compositions in accordance with technical specifications.
- Coordinate with procurement teams and external suppliers when required.
- Develop, manage, and monitor project schedules to ensure timely execution.
- Review technical drawings and Bills of Materials (BoM) or coordinate their preparation through the Calderys design offices.
- Oversee the completion of technical, quality, and project-related documentation.
- Participate in customer negotiations, project review meetings, and project close-out discussions as part of the sales team.
- Conduct and participate in quality inspections at client facilities, Calderys workshops, and subcontractor sites.
- Supervise and evaluate product installations at customer sites, including the preparation of site visit and technical analysis reports.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of refractories and/or industrial customer processes within sectors such as Cement, Petrochemical, Incineration, and Boilers.
- Understanding of lining design principles and installation methods.
- Proficiency in industrial drafting and design software, particularly AutoCAD.
- Ability to work effectively within both commercial and technical teams.
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and standard web-based tools.
- Fluent in English.
