Calderpeel Interiors is a newly established interior design studio, working alongside Calderpeel Architects—an award-winning practice with over 30 years’ experience delivering luxury bespoke homes across the UK. Our interiors service is focused on providing a seamless, turnkey offering—creating beautifully considered, high-end living environments that are fully integrated with the architecture. From concept to completion, we deliver exceptional design, detailing, and client experience.
We are looking for a talented Interior Designer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to join our growing team. You will play a key role in delivering high-end residential projects, working closely with senior designers and directors to develop and realise exceptional interior schemes. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in all stages of a project—from early concept design through to final installation and styling—within a highly collaborative architectural and interiors environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative interior concepts for luxury residential projects
- Produce high-quality presentations, mood boards, and material palettes
- Prepare detailed drawing packages, including plans, elevations, and bespoke joinery
- Assist with FF&E specification, sourcing, and procurement
- Work closely with the architectural team to ensure a cohesive design approach
- Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors
- Support project coordination, timelines, and delivery on site
- Assist with final styling and installation to achieve a fully resolved scheme
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in high-end residential interior design
- Degree in Interior Design or a related discipline
- Strong portfolio demonstrating refined, design-led work
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with SketchUp and/or Revit (desirable)
- Good technical understanding of detailing and bespoke joinery
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and luxury suppliers
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
