Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our successful Church of England School. You will initially be based in one of our Year 2 classes and will ideally have previous experience of covering in KS1 year groups and have HLTA status or equivalent.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is able to work unsupervised / work as a team as directed by the Deputy Executive Headteacher, Assistant Head or Class Teachers supporting and delivering learning to classes, groups and individuals.

• Is proficient in the use of ICT in the classroom, including the use of interactive smartboards.

• Can provide short-term cover for the class teacher (for PPA, training release etc.)

• Is able to maintain high standards of behaviour, ensuring continuity in the class teacher's absence and acting in accordance with the school's behaviour policy.
