Calderdale Engineering Services are looking for an engineering labourer.

Responsibilities

  • Occasional basic engineering tasks.
  • Manual handling of mild steel and various other metals.
  • General housekeeping and cleaning of communal areas and workshop.
  • Delivery of finished orders to customers in works vehicle.
  • Unloading and management of materials from suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Experience working within an engineering machine shop.
  • Operation of hand tools, handheld sanding/grinding machines, saw, drills.
  • High levels of concentration.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Safe working practice.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • 25 years old or above (vehicle insurance).

Working Days

  • Monday to Thursday 08.00-17.00
  • Friday 08.00 - 13.00
  • Overtime periodically available.
