As part of the friendly Science department, you will be a valued member of the team. Working closely with teaching staff, you will have the opportunity to bring support and assistance to the Science department. You will be working with KS3, KS4 and KS5, across the science areas, making this an exciting and active role, with each day being different and varied. You will work in a well organised and productive prep room based in the heart of the Science department.
What the role involves in a nutshell:
- Preparation of equipment and materials both for demonstration and class use
- Maintenance of laboratories to ensure a clean, safe working environment
- Following safety procedures in preparation areas and laboratories
- Ordering and replacing materials and equipment for class practical lessons
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines (COSHH and CLEAPSS)
