Role Purpose
To support the successful delivery of the We’re All Active Calderdale programme funded through Sport England, contributing to addressing and tackling physical activity and health inequalities.
Responsibilities
Working in defined geographical localities you will support the development of community led projects and initiatives to make being active easy, accessible and inspiring for residents. Working with communities you will develop, manage and monitor the impact of community led projects for physical activity. You will work in partnership with a wide range of people, organisations and services, enabling partners to play their part in supporting communities to be physically active through a joined‑up and collaborative approach.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with communities, co‑designing projects with local people and empowering them to make positive changes for improved health and wellbeing. They will also have experience in initiating, managing and monitoring the change & impact of community‑led projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong influencing and communication skills, both written and verbal, and have experience of working collaboratively with a wide range of people, organisations and services. You will bring a positive, can‑do attitude and be an effective, supportive team member.
