Transport Services has an excellent reputation for providing transportation for school children with special needs, older people, and adults with disabilities.

We are looking to expand our dedicated transport team of minibus passenger attendants, transporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in our fleet of 16-seater minibuses to various schools across the borough and beyond.

You will ensure that a high-quality passenger transport service is delivered by assisting passengers, supporting drivers, and contributing to a safe and efficient Transport Service.

Experience working with people with special needs is desirable, but training will be provided for suitable applicants. This role is physically and mentally demanding, and you must be prepared to work as part of a team.

The working pattern is generally from 6:30 am to 10:00 am and then from 2:15 pm to 6:00 pm daily, but this may vary. The service requires availability during peak times, and additional hours may be necessary as the service demands.

The Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All staff are expected to share this commitment. Applicants for posts exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS check before appointment.
