Calderdale’s Homelessness Service is hiring a Landlord Liaison Officer to act as a single point of contact for private sector landlords. The officer will work both virtually and face‑to‑face to build relationships, improve tenancy standards, resolve issues, and match tenants to vacant properties, supporting the implementation of the Renters Rights Act 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with private sector landlords.
- Provide advice and support to landlords regarding tenancy processes.
- Negotiate agreements and resolve tenancy‑related issues promptly and appropriately.
- Assist in matching suitable tenants to vacancies.
- Collaborate with Housing and Environmental Health teams to support the Renters Rights Act, improve property and energy standards, and deliver better‑quality homes.
