37 hours per week, to cover 12 months Maternity Cover. We are seeking to recruit a Deputy Manager to support with the organisation, delivery, and quality monitoring of our Reablement Service. You will work under the direction of the Care Quality Commission Registered Manager, to assist in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the Reablement service. The role will consist of a diverse range of responsibilities including organising rotas, assisting with quality monitoring, supervising staff, and involvement in the day-to-day delivery of direct care to the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in all aspects of the service.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the Reablement Team.
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred care is always delivered.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and safeguarding requirements.
- Build strong relationships with guests, families, and external professionals.
- Oversee safe and accurate administration, storage, and recording of medication.
- Demonstrate proven expertise in medication management and administration.
- Support staff and guests in medication handling and best practice.
About You
- Previous experience in a Deputy Manager, Senior Carer, or similar role.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for people and enhancing people’s quality of life.
