We offer a wide range of courses to approximately 4,000 adult learners throughout Calderdale, accredited and community‑based learning. Our provision adapts to the needs of our communities and offers opportunities to learn, grow in confidence, gain qualifications that support employment and career changes, maintain a healthy lifestyle, improve emotional health and well‑being, and develop practical skills for daily life.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide learning support across both learning disabilities and mainstream provision.
  • Work closely with tutors to ensure support is delivered on a one‑to‑one basis or within a small group.
  • Support mainstream learners up to level 2 in maths and English.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience working with adults who have learning disabilities.
  • Ability to support mainstream learners up to level 2 in maths and English.
  • Empathetic, patient, encouraging, effective team player and flexible in approach.
  • DBS check required for exempt posts under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
Contract and Benefits:

The contract includes an additional paid 20 hours annual CPD to enable you to access inductions and training within the service.
