Recruitment and Resourcing Advisor at Calderdale Council

SCP starting at 23-28 (£34,434 to £39,152 per annum), progression to 29-34 (£41,771 to £45,091 per annum), subject to progression on role profile, 37 hours per week, permanent contract.

Calderdale strives to develop our community to improve the local economy. Within Calderdale the Estates Management team deal with the day to day running of the property portfolio, including management of the Council’s property portfolio, acquisition and disposal of property, property valuation, minimising the Council’s liability for non-domestic rates, managing any Right to Bid (Assets of Community Value nominations) across Calderdale (including non-Council property) and provision of property advice to deliver strategic and corporate projects and initiatives. The role will assist the team in creating innovative ways to maximise the revenue from existing assets whilst developing and delivering a future strategy for the Council’s property portfolio.

We provide a highly effective and customer focused property service to the Borough, balancing the requirements of the ongoing Corporate Asset and Facilities Management Transformation Programme with business and operational responsibilities.

We are looking for someone with a degree level or equivalent in a relevant area, allowing for RICS registration and entry onto the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC). The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of strategic and operational property functions that align the asset base and physical development with the Council’s strategic objectives and corporate and financial goals.
