We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, flexible tutor who has relevant subject knowledge and experience to deliver Functional English qualifications ranging from Entry level to Level 2. Teaching experience within an adult setting is essential. You will assess learners' starting points, tailor learning to individual needs, and track progress. We expect all staff to embed wider skills in their teaching including British Values, Safeguarding and Prevent, Equality and Diversity to ensure that learners maximise their understanding.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. Applicants to posts that are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.

We have some flexibility to discuss and agree day/times for this contract with the successful candidate. When completing your application, it is essential to evidence how you meet the personal specification in your personal statement.
