We are looking to recruit a Community Link Worker to be part of the Neighbourhood Team at Halifax Central Initiative, based at Elsie Whitely Innovation Centre.
Responsibilities
- You will be required to work with residents from all communities, particularly focusing on Eastern European/Roma Heritage residents.
Qualifications
- Experience of working in a paid or voluntary capacity with residents and/or community groups within a diverse community.
- Good organisational and team working skills with the ability to communicate clearly in writing and face to face with a broad range of people.
- Knowledge and understanding of the issues that face people living in neighbourhoods like Halifax Central.
- Ability to communicate in Czech/Slovak verbally and in writing.
