Overview
With events, facilities and attractions to suit every lifestyle, Calderdale is a lively and culturally diverse borough. We are recruiting for multiple Cleaners (Facilities Support Assistants) to start as soon as possible. You will work within key council buildings, ensuring that they’re cleaned and maintained to a high standard for all our customers and that all aspects of the Facilities Management service are met. We are looking for candidates who will take pride in their work and in the condition of their building. Cleaning experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided. We offer good employee benefits with local government pension scheme, holiday pay and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure council buildings are cleaned and maintained to a high standard for customers.
- Contribute to delivering the Facilities Management service for the organisation.
- Take pride in the condition of the buildings and the quality of cleaning performed.
- Work within designated shifts and locations as listed below.
Vacancies
- Halifax Town Centre Mornings – Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per week
- Halifax Town Centre Mornings – Monday to Saturday, 13.5 hours per week
- Hebden Bridge Mornings – Monday to Saturday, 9 hours per week
- Elland Afternoons – Monday to Friday, 10 hours per week
- Elland Mornings – Monday to Friday, 10 hours per week
Qualifications and requirements
- Cleaning experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
