We’re looking for two Assistant Project Managers to join us in Major Projects in the Regeneration and Strategy Directorate. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we transform Calderdale through an unprecedented level of investment. Join us and be part of Calderdale’s next chapter.

Role and responsibilities
Join us as an Assistant Project Manager and play an integral role in the development and delivery of complex, multi-million pound capital projects creating real change for local people from day one. We are delivering a capital portfolio of hundreds of millions of pounds as part of ‘Calderdale The Next Chapter’. You will play an essential part in the management and delivery of projects within the Major Projects Service at Calderdale Council that stimulate regeneration and economic growth across the borough and wider West Yorkshire region.

Assistant Project Manager
Projects include:
- A629 Phase 2 Halifax Town Centre – We’re creating new public spaces improving accessibility, creating areas where people can move around free of traffic, improving vehicle circulation around the town and public transport connectivity, and supporting our aspirations for inclusive growth.
- A641 Improvement Scheme – Developing a vision-led approach to active travel in southeast Calderdale to support the Council’s wider objectives for growth.
- Elland Access Package – The Access Package will improve walking and cycling access to the new Elland Rail Station, including the creation of two new bridges.
