Calderdale College is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our outstanding team to support learning and progress in workshop sessions by delivering practical skills, demonstrations and supporting students to learn those skills, knowledge and behaviours.

As a Technical Training Mentor, you will support the teaching and learning objectives of motor vehicle curriculum programmes through the provision of technical and mentoring support. The role will also require you to order, allocate and maintain all materials and equipment required by staff and students for curriculum delivery and assessment within the workshop.

You will be responsible for the smooth running of the practical workshop and compliance with Health and Safety within the workshop areas. This role requires someone who is willing to turn their hand to different challenges, with the ability to motivate and mentor students and determination to achieve success in all aspects of the role.

You will join the faculty at an exciting time as we deliver a range of innovative projects with employers and the community.
