Calderdale College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Sport Lecturer to join our thriving Sports Department. This role offers the opportunity to shape high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment across our Level 1 to Level 3 Sport programmes, ensuring every learner is supported to achieve their full potential.
Working closely with the Curriculum Area Leader, you will take responsibility for the planning, delivery and assessment of a dynamic and engaging curriculum. You will play a key role in leading programme development, maintaining high academic standards, and contributing to a positive, ambitious learning culture.
We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership, organisational and communication skills, underpinned by proven experience teaching on Sport programmes within Further Education. You will be able to motivate, challenge and inspire learners, acting as a role model and champion for student success. Experience in football coaching would be an advantage, though it is not essential.
