Calderdale College is the largest provider of further education (post‑16) courses, work‑based learning (Apprenticeships) and the sole provider of higher education awards in Calderdale, and currently in the top 5% of Colleges in the UK for 16‑18 student success. We are seeking to appoint a receptionist to join our successful team, responsible for the provision of a first‑class front of house service to students, staff and external visitors.
Key qualities sought:
- Providing professional and high levels of customer service to students, staff, Commercial clients and external visitors at the Colleges Inspire Centre.
- Responding to customer enquiries in person and by telephone, providing a welcoming and effective service to all at Calderdale College.
- To present a friendly and professional corporate image in order to provide a positive impression of the reception and the College.
- To operate the College Phone system.
- To ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a professional manner and to agreed service and quality standard.
- To maintain a professional reception environment.
- To ensure health and safety regulations are followed and incidents are reported at all times.
- To contribute to the security of equipment and materials within the reception area, including income.
- To make routine decisions associated with the smooth operation of the reception area.
