Senior Estates Officer (Electrical) in Huddersfield

CHS are looking to appoint a highly experienced estates professional to the role of Senior Estates Officer (Electrical). The successful applicant will be responsible for operational management of the estates electrical department including inhouse resource and contractors, ensuring all works meet statutory and mandatory compliance, ensuring adherence with industry standards and best practice ie: HTM and HBNs and internal policies and procedures, providing assurances to the deputy managing director and ultimately the CHS Board of Directors and ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff., Responsible for the operational delivery of estates technical services at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, including, estates building and engineering services maintenance and associated contracted service and contract management. Ensuring the provision of a safe, supportive, and sustainable environment for patients is maintained in accordance with any statutory or mandatory requirements including a CQC rating of \”GOOD\” as a minimum standard. Responsible for ensuring all associated policy and procedures are developed, reviewed, and implemented as required. Must be prepared to support and cover for other Estates and Facilities Divisional functions as required within the range of skills, knowledge and experience as agreed with the General Manager Technical Services.
