This is an exciting opportunity to support Operational HR across the Divisional Teams. This is far more than a traditional administration role; you will be at the centre of key workforce activities, leading a team, coordinating HR processes, supporting workforce compliance and helping to ensure our organisation attracts, recruits and supports the talented colleagues who deliver outstanding patient care every day.
Main duties of the job include:
- Providing operational leadership for a busy HR Administration function, overseeing medical recruitment, resident doctor changeover programmes and workforce compliance.
- Overseeing the end-to-end recruitment activity for medical colleagues, including consultant appointments and resident doctor onboarding, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and service delivery are maintained.
- Working closely with HR Business partners and HR Advisory colleagues to deliver workforce priorities.
- Influencing and improving HR systems, streamlining processes and using data and insight to drive continuous improvement across the service.
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. You will have experience within HR administration and be confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment. Ideally, you'll have experience of NHS HR processes, recruitment systems and workforce compliance activity.
You will also bring:
- CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent experience in a relevant field).
- Experience coordinating HR or administrative processes.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience supervising, coordinating or leading the work of others.
- A commitment to accuracy, continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.
Our vision is to provide One Culture of Care for one another in order that we can provide compassionate care for the people who use our services. We are passionate about creating a workplace where we work together to get results, encouraging colleagues to have their say, in order to co-create the change we want to see. We take pride in the diversity of our workforce; that’s why we encourage applications from all. Reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled applicants.
