Lead the safe, efficient and patient-centred operation of the CHS outpatient dispensary in line with SOPs, medicines legislation and CHS / CHFT policies.
Responsibilities include
- Manage staff, resources, activity and information for the outpatient dispensary service, including rota planning, performance management and training.
- Drive continuous improvement through audits, KPI tracking, incident/near-miss learning and service development projects that improve flow, safety and the patient experience.
- Perform a final accuracy check on dispensed medicines.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy team members and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
You will be a motivated and patient-focused pharmacy technician with experience of managing resources in a busy pharmacy setting.
You will have excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
