We invite dynamic and enthusiastic applicants to join Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust as Static Band 5 Outpatient Physiotherapists.

Our outpatient physiotherapy team see patients referred from services across the Calderdale and Huddersfield health economy, with services offered on multiple sites. In Calderdale, we provide the full MSK pathway, including FCP, outpatient physiotherapy, and MSK services that work closely with orthopaedic teams.

We are committed to supporting our static Band 5 physiotherapists in developing their MSK skills through protected time and support from senior clinicians.

This post is aimed at existing Band 5 physiotherapists with NHS experience.

  • Manage your own caseload in these settings as an autonomous practitioner, with supervision as required, and contribute to the team’s work.
  • Work independently within Trust policies and professional standards, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • The post involves rotating across various locations within the Calderdale and Huddersfield health economy, working in lively, friendly hubs with support available both informally and through formal supervision and annual appraisals.
  • Participate in mandatory and in-service training, as well as other professional development activities.
  • Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle. Reasonable adjustments will be considered for applicants with disabilities under the Equality Act 2010.
