The nursing team assist the radiologist with interventional radiological , from diagnostic to therapeutic procedures. This ranges from assisting with a biopsy or drain in ultrasound or CT to being the scrubbing nurse during a vascular case. Providing care for patients from admission to discharge in the radiology day case units. Assist the radiologist with CT and ultrasound, biopsies, drains and aspirations. Act as a scrub or circulating nurse in the angio lab during more complex inteventional radiology procedures. Carry out pre-assessments. To assess, plan, implement and assess patient care. Then escalate you concerns to relevant practitioner. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide patient centred care. We provide community health services, including sexual health services in Calderdale from Calderdale Royal and local health centres. These include Todmorden Health Centre and Broad Street Plaza.
