To work as a team member providing support to Medical and Nursing Staff as required. The post will include clinical chaperoning, phlebotomy, and microscopy (when trained). Responsibilities include setting up and closing down the clinical area, maintaining stock levels, and supporting clerical duties such as booking service users to build a flexible workforce.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of examination rooms and the clinical environment in accordance with the Trust\’s infection control policy to ensure a clean and safe patient/clinic environment.
- Assisting with examinations, as directed by the clinician.
- Performing chaperone procedures as directed by the clinician.
- Carrying out phlebotomy with appropriate training.
- Conducting microscopy with training.
- Facilitating Test & Go asymptomatic testing lists.
