To work under the guidance and supervision of qualified staff to meet the needs of clients in their own homes. The role may also involve providing care to clients in other primary healthcare settings. Calderdale offers a 24-hour district nursing service, and this position supports that service.
The post is for an out-of-hours healthcare assistant working between 18:00 and 08:00 (shift dependent), totaling 36 hours per week.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driving licence is essential, with access to your own vehicle.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Motivated and passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
- Willing to undertake additional training relevant to the role.
- Previous healthcare experience is desirable.
- Confident, resilient, and caring in nature.
