The post holder will work as a key member of the Cardio-Respiratory Service, carrying out various diagnostic procedures in different healthcare settings.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out physiological measurement testing on patients and producing factual reports as an independent practitioner in Cardio-Respiratory procedures within non-invasive and respiratory domains.
- Recording and producing factual written or verbal reports for diagnostic cardiac investigations, including:
- 12 Lead electrocardiograph (ECGs)
- Application and analysis of ambulatory ECGs
- Application and analysis of ambulatory blood pressure (BP)
- Basic Spirometry
- Full Lung Function Testing
- Exercise testing
- Myocardial Perfusion Scanning
- Angiography
The post holder should hold a BSc (Hons) in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology/Respiratory) or Healthcare Science, and applicants in the final year of the program are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will hold ILS certification, be registered with AHCS/RCCP within 3 months of appointment, and demonstrate dedication, reliability, and commitment to supporting the service.
