A Level 2 teaching assistant is required to support pupils on a 1:1 basis for 28.75 hours per week for 39 weeks. We would like the candidate to have previous experience in supporting pupils who have difficulties with:
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health
- Communication and Language
- Cognition and Learning
Pro-rata Salary - Grade 3, Point 5-6 £17,074.37 - £17,735.95 (Actual Salary)

You will be expected to have:
- An ability to work effectively in a team
- A level of numeracy and literacy sufficient to carry out the duties of the post
- Must be able to recognise discrimination in its many forms and willing to put the Council's Equality Policies into practice
- Must be sensitive to the requirements of disadvantaged groups and children with special educational needs
- Must be adaptable to work with all primary ages from Early Years to Year 6.
