We are currently seeking an experienced Science Technician to join a successful school in Kensington & Chelsea from 1st September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and experienced Science Technician who can support the delivery of practical science across KS3, KS4 and A Level, with particular responsibility for Biology praticals.
The Role
- Preparing and setting up practical lessons across Science.
- Supporting teachers and students during practical lessons.
- Preparing and delivering A Level Biology practicals independently.
- Leading and managing A Level Biology practical sessions.
- Supporting KS3 Science practicals.
- Preparing and supporting AQA KS4 Required Practicals.
- Maintaining a safe, organised and well-equipped science department.
- Managing and maintaining laboratory equipment and resources.
- Ensuring appropriate health and safety procedures are followed.
- The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who
- Has previous Science Technician experience within a school or educational setting.
- Has strong practical knowledge of Biology.
- Is confident in personally delivering and leading A Level Biology praticals.
- Has experience with KS3 Science and AQA KS4 Required Praticals.
- Is organised, reliable and able to work independently.
- Has excellent health and safety awareness.
- Can work effectively alongside teaching staff and support students.
Essential Requirements
- Science Technician experience is essential.
- Experience delivering/leading A Level Biology praticals.
- Experience with KS3 and AQA KS4 Required praticals.
- Right to work in the UK.
- DBS on the Update Service.
- Availability to start 1st September 2026.
