Subject: Design & Technology (including planning, teaching, assessment across KS3 & KS4)
Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in Design & Technology for KS3 & KS4
- Take full responsibility for marking, feedback and student progress
- Contribute to curriculum development in the DT department
- Manage behaviour, monitor attendance and support student development
- Carry out form tutor duties / pastoral responsibilities as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Recent secondary teaching experience in Design & Technology across KS3 & KS4
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Passion for fostering students’ creativity, technical understanding and design skills
- Ability to work in a supportive department / school leadership environment
