Job Description

Job Title: Design & Technology Teacher (KS3 & KS4)\\nContract Type: Agency / Long‑term supply with option to convert to permanent\\nStart Date: Immediate\\nSchool: Good Ofsted rating (Grade: “Good” or equivalent)\\nHours: Full‑time (timetable, planning, marking, form tutor duties)\\nKey Stages: KS3 & KS4\\nSubject: Design & Technology (including planning, teaching, assessment across KS3 & KS4)\\nResponsibilities:\\n * \\n Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in Design & Technology for KS3 & KS4\\n * \\n Take full responsibility for marking, feedback and student progress\\n * \\n Contribute to curriculum development in the DT department\\n * \\n Manage behaviour, monitor attendance and support student development\\n * \\n Carry out form tutor duties / pastoral responsibilities as require\\nRequirements:\\n * \\n Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent\\n * \\n Recent secondary teaching experience in Design & Technology across KS3 & KS4\\n * \\n Excellent classroom management and organisational skills\\n * \\n Passion for fostering students’ creativity, technical understanding and design skills\\n * \\n Ability to work in a supportive department / school leadership environment\\nWhat the School Offers:\\n * \\n A supportive leadership team and collaborative DT department\\n * \\n Good Ofsted‑rated environment with strong staff development opportunities\\n * \\n Option for conversion to permanent contract subject to performance and availability\\n * \\n Immediate start possible
