Construction Manager – Nights Based West London (W12) Rate to £370 a day Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a high-profile commercial refurbishment project? Role Overview: The Construction Manager will oversee night-time operations on a commercial refurbishment project. Key responsibilities include: Ceiling Removal and Installation: Manage the removal of existing ceilings and the installation of new plasterboard and feature ceilings. MEP Services Control: Oversee the removal, switching off, and maintenance of various MEP services. Insulation and Panelling: Supervise the installation of soffit insulation and timber feature panelling. New Lobby and Fire Escape: Coordinate the creation of a new lobby area and the formation of a new fire escape route. High-Level Ceiling Zone: Ensure the installation of feature ceiling lights, making good of the existing ceiling, and painting tasks are completed to a high standard. Skills and Experience Required: CSCS Black Card: Essential for site access and management. SMSTS Certification: Required for managing site safety. Fire Marshall Certification: Preferable, though not mandatory. Experience: Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects, particularly in commercial refurbishments. Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage night shifts and ensure project milestones are met. Communication: Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders and manage on-site teams effectively.
