About the Company:
Highly regarded and respected specialist civils contractor seeks an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a large, prestigious contract. The Company turnover is in the region of £250m per annum, with civils making up £100m, but with plans for major growth in the coming years. Project values range up to £50m, and they will operate as both a Tier 1 and 2.
About the Role:
The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will assist the Project Commercial Manager on 2 schemes, valued together at £48m. Both schemes form part of a wider, major project and growth spend on a scheme that has several years longevity in it. The specific works itself will involve RC, structures and general civils.
About You:
- NEC experience
- Able to take a package of work from inception through to completion
- Ideally degree qualified, or HND level
- Able to spot commercial opportunity in a contract
- Enjoy working within a dynamic environment
- Be able to work well within a team that includes delivery and design teams
