Are you a Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor, with Project Management experience seeking a long term freelance opportunity? A leading contractor is in search of a freelance professional to contribute significantly to a large-scale retail development. This role promises not only professional growth but also the chance to make a substantial impact on a high-profile project. The successful Commercial manager will have a strong background in pre-construction activities, particularly in formulating cost plans and budgets from minimal concept or brief information. This is a live project, so the ability to adapt and deliver in a fast-paced setting is essential. • Experienced in Construction project management as either a Project Manager or Commercial Manager. • Experience in delivery of retail construction an advantage. • A firm understanding of the CDM Regulations. • Experience in installing, modifying and upgrading MEPH services in a retail environment advantageous but not essential. • Demonstrate knowledge and experience of Health & Safety within construction. o SMSTS 5 day Safety certificate/NEBOSH certificate o Black CSCS card holder • IT literate with experience including Cost Management systems, Microsoft Office and Teams, Word, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint. • Passionate to achieve exceptional standards for business and personal credibility • Resourceful, innovative thinker; able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision. • The skills to maintain close working relationships across all sectors of the business to assist in the facilitation of projects. • Degree, degree equivalent or HND/HNC qualification.
