Head of Football Coaching in Leeds

JPL Head Coach – Calcio FC Hours: Approximately 6 hours per week Availability: Friday evenings and flexible availability on Saturdays Role Overview Calcio FC is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable JPL Head Coach to lead one of our Select teams. The coach will be responsible for delivering high-quality training, managing the team on matchdays and supporting the development of every player. Key Responsibilities - Plan and deliver engaging Friday evening training sessions. - Lead the team during Saturday JPL fixtures. - Work within Calcio FC’s playing philosophy and coaching framework. - Create a positive, professional and challenging environment. - Support the individual development of players. - Select teams and manage player involvement fairly. - Communicate clearly with players, parents and club staff. - Complete basic matchday and player-development administration. - Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and professionalism. - Attend occasional coaching meetings and club events. Requirements - Available every Friday evening during the season. - Flexible availability for Saturday fixtures, including occasional travel. - Minimum FA Level 2 or UEFA C qualification preferred. - Previous experience coaching youth football. - Valid enhanced DBS and relevant safeguarding and first-aid qualifications. - Reliable, organised and confident communicating with parents. - A strong commitment to player development and the values of Calcio FC. The role is approximately six hours per week, although Saturday timings may vary depending on fixtures. additional work available should the candidate want.
