We are seeking a passionate Structural Engineer to join our expanding team in Poole.

Overview

Due to an expanding workload, we require a Structural Engineer with 3-4 years of experience within a structural engineering consultancy.

The successful candidate should have working knowledge of the latest structural design programs (such as Tekla Structural Design, Masterseries, SCIA) and will join our forward-thinking consulting engineering firm.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile and complex building structures projects, collaborating with in-house civil engineers and various external consultants.

Depending on seniority & experience your job role will be as follows

Principal Structural Engineer

Leading the structural design and analysis for complex engineering projects, while also reviewing, approving, and finalising all engineering deliverables, and mentoring and guiding team members to achieve technical excellence.

Designing structural components for various projects, coordinating with other engineers and project engineers, to ensure integration of all project elements, and supervising and mentoring less experienced engineers.

Designing, analysing, and documenting structural systems, ensuring compliance with standards.

Support senior engineers, perform calculations, draft documents, and contribute to problem‑solving discussions.

Our structural engineers work closely with the technicians to ensure everyone is on the same page.

  • Utilise advanced structural design programs to contribute to high-performance building structure projects.
