As project demands rise at Calcinotto, we are expanding the team accordingly.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Technician, candidates with 5 years of experience in engineering and proficiency in Auto CAD.
This role offers a chance to work on varied and intricate building projects, aiding us in providing innovative solutions to our clients.
- General Responsibilities & Daily Activities
- Provide technical support to engineers in the design and analysis of building structures.
- Utilise Site3D and Auto CAD to create detailed drawings and 3D models.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, ensuring all drawings and models meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Work closely with engineers and other team members to develop and refine full building models, addressing complex design and planning issues.
- Ensure all outputs comply with quality assurance procedures and industry standards.
Requirements
- An HND, HNC, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is preferred but not essential.
- 5 years of experience in an engineering environment.
- Technical Skills
- Proficient in Civil 3D and Site 3D geometric modelling including earthworks (cut/fill optimisation), highways and development design.
- Drawing Management and control – use of a wide range of extranet document management systems.
- Ability to produce detailed drawings and 3D models.
- Familiarity with other design software is also advantageous.
- Key Skills
- Ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders is essential.
- Experience working collaboratively with engineers and design teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high‑quality work.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English and Numeracy).
