Cala Homes SHC Ltd are looking for a Customer Service Operative with a passion for delivering excellent customer service to join their team based in Dorking. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking remedial works for purchasers and occasionally working with external trades in Surrey, Kent & Sussex.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out decorative making-good settlement works
  • The reporting and correction of minor faults, including full reinstatement of emergency works
  • Communicating regularly with our office team, contractors and suppliers
  • Ensuring that our customers are happy with any repairs carried out
  • Attending weekly departmental meetings and keeping all paperwork up to date

Ideally, you will be an experienced joiner, but we will also look at candidates that have a multi-trade building background. You must have knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety regulations. You should feel comfortable working at height and using ladders safely. Excellent communication skills are essential as is a full driving licence and the ability to work efficiently and effectively without supervision.
