The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery, we are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Workplace Technology Engineer to join our Service Delivery Technology team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our users are empowered with the latest Microsoft 365 tools and best practices, while also maintaining and evolving our digital workplace environment. You will be responsible for driving user adoption, supporting modern workplace initiatives, and ensuring seamless integration of new Microsoft 365 features and services.

Key elements of the role:

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and the Power Platform.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to end users to maximize productivity and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain user documentation, quick reference guides, and training materials.
  • Monitor Microsoft 365 roadmap and Message Center to identify upcoming changes and assess their impact.
  • Coordinate testing, validation, and deployment of new features and updates in collaboration with the Infrastructure Team.
  • Ensure smooth rollout of new tools and capabilities with minimal disruption to users.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk and Infrastructure teams to resolve escalated issues related to workplace technologies.
  • Analyze trends in support tickets to identify opportunities for automation, training, or process improvement.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance the digital workplace experience.
  • Evaluate and pilot new Microsoft 365 features and third-party integrations.
  • Contribute to the development of governance and best practices for Microsoft 365 usage.
  • Work closely with business units to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Communicate technical concepts in a clear, user-friendly manner to non-technical stakeholders.

About You

Key Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role supporting Microsoft 365 in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and end-user functionality.
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint Online customization is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, training, and documentation skills.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or experience in IT service management is desirable.
