Cala Consulting are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Project Manager. Our client is a highly successful fit-out and refurbishment contractor delivering bespoke projects across the UK and Ireland. Working with a diverse portfolio of clients, the business delivers high-quality projects within the commercial, retail, hospitality and workplace sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager to join a growing organisation and gain exposure to a varied range of projects from initial planning through to successful completion.
Purpose of the Role
The Project Manager will support the successful delivery of multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to coordinate all aspects of project delivery while maintaining excellent client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
- Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any issues that may impact programme, cost or quality.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders throughout the duration of projects.
- Assist in the management of project budgets and monitor expenditure against agreed costs.
- Support procurement activities including obtaining quotations and coordinating material orders.
- Conduct regular site visits and attend project meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations.
